French toll roads with a van

Hi all, I will be taking a large van, under 3.5t to an paris. Question is do I get a sanef tag which I may use once a year, or just lean over 2 empty passenger seats at the to booth and card it.
Does it take the sanef long to come?
It’s just calais to Paris and back.
Thanks

Lean across! Iirc the first toll leaving Calais is designed for both left and right hand drive.

I used to run down to Barcelona twice a week in a rhd Sprinter and never bothered with tags.

If i was doing it often id be getting a tag, but for a once a year jobby i wouldnt bother.

Some toll boths are designed for both rhd and lhd, look at the signs above, its easy in a van just crawl slide across.

Tags offer discounted tolls, if your running regular id deffo be getting a tag

Calais to Paris there are only two booths one at St Omer and the other just before Paris, St Omer defiantly has a RHD machine, not so sure about Paris but a tag would be a waste of time.

Don’t bother doing the toll road.

Cheers everyone, leaning it will be!
