Funny how nobody was crying when it was almost parity at 1.06 in October 2009!Rates go up and down and it WILL bounce back at some point.
I had to wring MY hankie out several times a day! In Jan 2007 it was 1.50… Ain`t bounced back there yet.
I have owned a villa in Spain since 2001 and I know and feel the joy and pain of the currency fluctuations. I always felt that 1.20 was a good steady rate. Anything above was a bonus and anything below meant a frugal trip abroad lol.
