Just wondering what ever happen to him there was a article in TRUCKING mag back in 2004 on him it seemed his wife was the brains behind it,Had a lovely DAF XF 530 alpine metallic blue did refer work from around Bury lancs
AND
Another one for all the good members of trucknet red SCANIA pulled boxes out of Felixstowe had the Dumbo on the head bored art work up the sides

I know I know I’m a big pain asking stupid questions just interested to see if buying a brand new wagon with all the belles and whistles really pays off :wink: any information welcome

I was only thinking about GC the other day, he was on for Coventry Reefers IIRC, I ain`t seen him in ages :open_mouth:

Dumbo went pop, not surprised really, with that on your headboard :blush:

gary cannon was subbing for macfarlane about 5 years ago before the it went on a downword spiral,iirc the truck ran on a 4 on 4 off with him and another driver,
we had a lot of subbys on at that time i often wonder where they are now,

Absolute mint wagons,I remember reading about him in Trucking mag when he just started with a big 144,dose anybody please even PM me that article if they have it would love read to it again,My partner got up in the attic of the house when I was working and throw out all my mags were talk en stacks of them :angry: some argument that weekend :blush: :unamused:

The Dumbo motor was i believe the 1st motor of a double act. The 2nd motor, Snow White has been exported to tanzania according to EM. Rogers Trucksales.

It may still be around, but, it ain`t the original owner, he was from the Mansfield area IIRC, and went bang !!!

TBF, as an industry, how are we supposed to be taken seriously, when someone can spend serious money on such a stupid idea, its not suprising he went ■■■■ up :blush: :blush: :blush:
