Hi everyone,I’m a semi retired trucker and last year decided to try and claim my HGV medical costs for last year(£62) because they sent me a bill for underpayed tax,normally I dont bother,I only work casual so my agency doesn’t pay,anyway the hmrc has returned it saying medical costs aren’t claimable,has anyone ever had any success claiming this! surely a cost incurred allowing me to carry out my work should be allowable? I’m new to the forum so sorry if its in the wrong section.
I’ve not heard of you being able to claim for a medical. I didnt pay for mine as it was done through the company but thats different.
