were another haulier has just been dealt with under GV - S26 and has had his licence curtailed to 12 vehicles.
The penalties could be anything from a warning about future conduct to fines, reduction of the number of vehicles allowed to suspension or revocation of the licence.

Some info here on what happens at an enquiry, them sections are sections of theGoods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 (GV (LoO) A 1995.
26 and 27 deal with suspension, curtailment and for section 28 its generally a disqualification is considered.
