Just after some answers in regarding the above topic, I know that the allowance I get is non taxable but my employer does include in my gross salary so i have one line on wage slip saying Gross Salary TD then another saying Gross Tax TD, are they correct in including it in the Gross Salary?

Mine is included in my gross on my wageslip but it is not taxed.

There should be another line saying “Gross for Tax TD” or “Taxable Pay TD” which will be lower as it won’t include either night out money, any tolls/parking you’ve claimed or your workplace pension contributions. That’s the amount the tax you pay will be based on.
