Police horse truck

Did anyone else see the police horse truck travelling north on the m1 from.jct 2 around 13.00

I was going south on.opostie carriage there was 4 police bike outsiders lights flashing behind them a police range rover.
Then a gap then a police horse truck.
Yes it was a horse truck not a prison van
Then behind that 2 more police bikes.
Anyone any ideas?didn’t think.horses were that valuable

look’s like they have found shergar. .

Obviously you have no knowledge of horses.
They can cost a small fortune depending what they are used for, breeding, show jumping ,dressage, racing, eventing or just hacking and local show jumping ,plus age is taken into consideration for a really good horse skies the limit on price
I have paid £180 for a young unbroken pony £2000 for a 9 year old and £1600 for a 5 year old

If i had to take a punt my money would go on they were maybe transporting the horses/s of a certain Royal Princess, maybe she was in the box too. (The front part obviously  ).

It sounds like horses are the wrong way round. So you pay a small fee for a youngster with loads of miles on the clock, and a fortune for a knackered old one which is likely to cost a fortune in repairs.

Did someone try to claim “its a classic” and wack on a premium which is dealer shorthand for “will never work properly”.

As for the horse truck, was thinking it could be Camilla Parker Horse-features on an official visit.

Did the 2k one get police escorted everywhere?

perhaps they were en route to the vets to have the ■■■■■■■■ that are normally halfway up their back removed and refitted in the correct place on their rears?
most likely just getting tooled up for a big match or race riot pending in the inner city ghettos of modern diversified middle england.

Would guess a big drug haul, or something, and it’s too big for a van.

Where would her back part be then?
Still in the pantomime changing rooms?

Seriously though, it’s probably an undercover operation.

Hard to believe but the Police pay little or nothing for their remounts and they only take a donated horse on appro. because if it turns out unsuitable after a trial period they just return it to the doner. This was the case in the 80’s because I offered them one of my cast off’s but Lancashire Police weren’t looking for any at the time. They contacted me about 3 months later asking if I still had the horse available, sorry Lads it’s long gone ! But it would have made a great Police horse as it was “bomb proof” but useless for what I needed. Cheers Bewick.

A classic can go on to produce little horses; try breeding a Jaguar XJ with a Mini Cooper and see what you get…
