Whats the correct term, truckers and offical names for the hand held devices we use on a daily bases to lift and drop the suspension on the rear axles?
I certain person, has ran over his and well yea no ones happy with him.

I call the lead for a tail lift that.
I find ‘thingy’ works well. Just add another word for greater clarity ie ‘suspension thingy’ or ‘tail lift thingy’
How about squashed thingy then?

Doofer that puts the thingy up and down.
I call that a rip-off-piece-of-kit at that price for a small electronic box like that.
Those particular ones are confusing to use, can never figure out what the top buttons all do (got a replacement on a DAF).
How you run that over I really don’t know. Not seen one stretch to below bottom step even on the 2 step trucks, unless the cable has been seriously stretched or did he actually sit on it?

Sadly not, we only have the one tractor unit, and its an old volvo fm12

You can pick up cheap ones off ebay.
