Lorry drivers brexit

Bet they don’t

express.co.uk/news/uk/11010 … article-50

“It added: “Don’t worry about the legal side of things, the national organiser is sorting that out.”” Ok that seems all above board

Quote…

From the article ‘Brexit Direct Action is planning a nationwide blockade of major transport links’ underneath a photo showing a road almost full of cars.

Is this what is classified as fake news?

They are going to blockade the M25?

Let me look into my crystal ball…dunno?
Would WinSeer like to give us the odds of a jam on the M25, 08hr00 Mon morn?

the odds of a jam on the M25, 08hr00 Mon morn? Urrrmmm, 100% YES

Be nice but will never happen, the hgv community couldn’t organise a ■■■■ up in a brewery.

Yes because truck drivers are renowned for their willingness to stand up for things as a collective :unamused:

The blockage is already in place:

It’s called “Operation Stack” - and set to happen more often, and the congestion get a lot worse if Brexit gets delayed, - or dissipate if Brexit is done on-time. :bulb:

1-100 there will be a double decker extracted at the left-hand bore entrance to the Dartford Tunnel this coming week
7/4 there will be an accident between 5 & 6 clockwise
4-1 there will be an accident around J2 and 1a either way
8-1 Operation Stack will be back in place by the weekend
12-1 there will be an accident in the Dartford tunnel this coming week
33-1 there will be laying snow on the M25 this coming week
100-1 an aircraft will make an emergency landing on the M25 this coming week (Air Ambulance - doesn’t count)

All in, run or not - all quoted.

I’m on m25 most days . So I’ll do my bit travelling at 55 slowing All the cars down . And the other truckers are welcome. Join me just pull along side and do 55.5 mph and we sorted.

It’d be a trifle irritating if truckers were to get together and stage mass protests over something as ill thought out as Brexit, before quietly returning to their £9ph jobs working 60 hours a week.

Maybe if those who want Brexit could protest on odd dates, then those who oppose Brexit could protest on even dates?
That way the Government would get a clear message about the way forward.

Parking up and causing an obstruction never works, it only brings short term solutions and heavy recovery to drag yer motor away with permission to cause as much damage as possible :exclamation: BDA are a genuine organisation but I think this ‘action’ hasn’t been thought through, I think one of their supporters is a driver or they have some links to the industry, the only thing that would work and maybe would also bring some people in on it who wouldn’t normally bother, a go slow, half a dozen 44 tonners doing the 40mph on the Mway’s will some bring disruption and no-one is breaking the law and it can include vans, cars and mbikes, simples eh Yer stay with the slow moving convoy as long as yer want and then move off when you have had enough, no-one is the leader, as long as yer keep to the min speed limit 40 mph and appropriate safe distances there shouldn’t be a problem, it brought the 78/79 proper drivers strike to an end and that was just to get a £1.00 an hour, some of you lads today have allowed yourselves to be castrated it’s very sad that yer can’t see that the lack of support for each other isn’t down to us older fella’s, well I assure you it’s today’s drivers who are scared pooless of challenging anything and just bending over and taking it, obviously there are the individuals who don’t fit the norm of today, but like me they are getting older and leaving the industry. Yesterdays drivers stuck up for each in more ways than todays self contained selfish drivers have ever done or will ever do :open_mouth: :sunglasses:

Regards
Dave Penn;

I reckon we should recruit the foreign drivers to do all this for us…

They can already park under motorway bridges with impunity, on MSA sliproads, on hard shoulders - with no fear of anything other than being “moved on” should plod even get around to it.

What better wagons to block “arterial routes with” as there seems to be some move to do, over a delayed Brexit if nothing else.

I’d argue “Wait until March 30th before protesting please”. I continue to cling to the faith that our illustrious PM has something “last minute” up her sleeve to get the Brexit done we actually WANT done - the Brexit that ends Austerity in this country once and for all.

It’ll never happen, guarantee that, and if it did I reckon these anarchist types will infiltrate and try to cause trouble like they always do as well as scum Antifa

Black bloc Antifa - Corbyns socialist scum militia

I struggle to understand the concept of ‘we’ll kick them out at the next election if they don’t deliver what we wanted’ :open_mouth:
Most of them are millionaires just doing their turn in the panto called parliament.(showbusiness for narcissistic ugly chancers)
Then the next agendas will be bildeberged into effect, wider immigration, further enviro vandalism, maybe another juicy foreign adventure etc,etc ,at the behest of another party of masonic controlled Oxbridge replicants.

Although i’d exclude Esther Mcvey from that tribe.Christ she’s a babe :stuck_out_tongue:

you must have ■■■■ in your eyes,my empty can of beer has got a better head than that

Trade deals have been signed with Fiji, Papua New Guinea and the Faroe Islands so no protests will be required and a fantastic post Brexit future is assured - BUT probably not in my lifetime
