The question that comes to mind as his defence tell us he is of very limited income and just the fall guy in the scheme, does this mean this was the best he could find for himself? Surely agency would pay and be better than this? Surely a more long term income around than getting put away.

Is it really beyond the scope of the police to find who operated the truck, and where the waste came from?
It’s processed domestic waste…so at one time it surely must have been in the legitimate waste stream as it would have been produced by a local authority or their approved contractor.
He’s clearly not the sharpest tool in the box…he’s a fall guy for someone.

Exactly. I mean, a layby or an industrial estate would be bad enough, but any type of school, let alone a special needs school?
I’d give him 6 months just for driving an ancient Iveco hookloader.
I wonder if he was working for a London based waste firm, begins with P and likes tipping wood waste on farms as “soil improver”?
