If I can manual entry 5 mins other work and then the rest on bed - it would help me out a little bit.
You can have the first part of a split daily rest period after a few minutes other work without having done any driving.
Bear in mind that the first part of the split daily rest period should actually be rest not break, but no-one is likely to know that you couldn’t dispose of your time freely unless you tell them.
