Titanium ingots strapping

Hey guys/gals i need advise on how to properly strap long titanium ingots. If anyone has any pictures or where i can get info as collecting out of sheffield tomorrow and have no clue! Only way to learn is ask and do me thinks…

Same as steel bars i would think, although they fair lot lighter should be easier :wink:

Titanium, that’s a few quids worth, the p1keys haven’t realised how much it’s worth yet.

I would use chains with sleeves on you don’t need so many and wouldn’t cut the straps if the ingot has Sharp edges also if the trailer has posts n sockets use them

If its like most places it will be straps and they will tell you how they want it strapping, we have to work to P and O guidelines on some jobs and some of it really is overkill

Sometimes they’re cylindrical and banded on scalloped timbers so they can’t roll.
If so just start loading at headboard and work backwards and strap them.
