Anyone work /worked for these guys?

Smales fish merchant ,based in Hull with depots nationwide.
Been offered an interview . Anyone know of them ? or worked for them ?
Cheers .

Seems like a reasonable plaice to work.

My mate works there. He said it is under new ownership, and fins ain’t what they used to be.

About a 3 on a 10 scale.

You don’t think they are likely to flounder then?

All sounds a bit fishy to me!

any idea of the pay scales ?

My mate applied,he got reeled in with the usual promises…think they cast their net far and wide to recruit new bait tbh

I hear it used to be good, but has now lost it’s sole .

It will be the same old pollocks as everywhere else.

Whatever they tell you, mullet over.

Best one so far

I think you’ve got to bring your own boat for Captain Haddock, since the previous one went up in flames today, apparently…

That would mean they are advertizing for an “owner driver” then?

If they don’t want Kippers applying - then you really need to be looking elsewhere, btw.

Fishing for Leave.jpg

Three fish beginning with the letter k and ending with the letter k
Killer shark , kwik save frozen haddock , Kilmarnock it’s a plaice

Well, as Harry Monkfish has said, it seems an ok plaice to work, so if I were you I’d scampi round sharpish.
When you tuna the corner into the yard, ask for John Dory, he’ll allocate a truck for you and show you what to fillet with. Make sure you ask how many squid a week they pay in case it makes you crabby.
Hope you don’t flounder, but you can always skate off to a new plaice.

And don’t forget to tell them you are a dab hand at driving a truck.

Poor guy asks a serious question and you lot just can’t Halibut.

We do it on porpoise but eel be fine.
