I’m no expect but surely the their are alarms/devices that could stop this?
I guess the cost of such a device would not be seen as worthwhile.

And when it goes off, you are going to get out and confront them… Basically if it’s a load that’s got value, don’t put it in a curtian, leave the back doors open,…

Unfortunately trying to find an alarm system that works with soft sided vehicles is very difficult.
I used to supply mobile alarm units for storage areas but they didn’t work unless the area had hard walls .
They were very loud and had powerful halogen lights attached.
