I never understand how a public bus can hit a bridge because the routes are all set and planned by the company. The driver can’t leave the route otherwise they would miss bus stops the service is supposed to stop at, and if a road is shut the driver asks the company which way they want him to go.
At least when lorries hit bridges the driver had to plan his own route to get there.
