I am! Well I live there, if not from there ( I feel that is important to point out.
Avoid Halton Lodge, Castlefields and especially Windmill Hill. Norton, Sandymoor, Weston village, Beechwood are all OK. Higher Runcorn is very nice, but I can’t afford to live there so settle for half way up the hill 
Jobs wise there is quite a lot on round Widnes especially.
