The bloke in the OTIS van will give him a lift [emoji23]

I suppose it’s a variation on dropping a trailer on it’s knees. Must have been still moving going by the scratch marks, but this is what happens when you remove the MOT disk from the trailers so the driver couldn’t check it (cough cough, ahem, as we all do / did).

I mean “groan, booo, bring back Robroy - he makes better terrible jokes…!”.

At least he can’t be blamed for not ensuring that the locking pins are in place

Not a bad place for it to happen as opposed to a motorway or a busy roundabout.

That won’t be cheap, the trailer looks as old as the hills probably failed due to corrosion, but why 2 cranes with that lifting capacity surely a 20ft box wouldn’t be that heavy surely.

You need a “spreader frame” to lift a box, while the crane can probably do it ( it could be terrible overloaded causing the chassis to collapse)
It you lift it with four straps / chains on the corners the force of the straps / chains under an angle will collapse the roof.
Also you can’t put no straps under it (loaded box) as the floor construction is not very strong

Depends what you put in it.

You can still check your MOT for your trailer, … online, with all previous MOT’s, fails and advisory’s
Was funny many drivers wouldn’t take a trailer out if there was no disc on them, or ripped disc off, and told the office they couldn’t take it.
But it never failed me to surprise that they would take any truck out, not even knowing if it was ever MOT’d
MOT is an office problem, not a driver … unless it’s his own truck / car etc.

It could be brimmed with tiles, brick, steel, you name it.
Had to pick one from the train, send from Italy, stacker couldn’t lift it, crane didn’t even want to look at it.
