I passed the distribution site of DB Schenker in Mechelen, Belgium earlier this evening.
As usual, their EE drivers were parked up at the bottom of the yard, their units in a circle. They were sat on camping chairs lit by camping lanterns, and eating some sort of camion stew. It reminded me a bit of this.
You’d think DBS would at least provide them with a basic portacabin to sit in some comfort, with a loo and maybe a flat screen telly tuned to Romanian tv. What a life !
