as usual in ireland then a simple matter becomes a compete can of worms overnight.

even though they changed the law 8 or 9 years ago due to having to be dragged into the 21st century along with the cash cow of the ee then the norm is still get your licence,sit and fail your test,then drive about normally and resit it again within two years.
