I think the microwave in my DAF SSC is broken, must got truck back after someone else been on it, and when switched on, makes funny noise and smoke coming out the back. I can see it’s wired through an inverter, but I’ve been informed it was a wav, how can that be, I’m sure its 240v, hence the inverter, could I replace it with one from Tesco at 50 quid, because Dometic, ones are £509.00 to replace like for like, its a 600 watt.

The Daewoo QT1 240v microwave has been recommended here before, 16ltr compact machine that holds a full size plate. They’re also popular with the campervan fraternity.

Atm Asda only have pink QT3’s in stock 
DAF micro normally has inverter built into it get a decent size inverterand a plug from daf plug into existing cable and a 50quid micro and your good to go
