You cant blame the guy for trying to branch out, at least he set his roots down in a leafy area.

4 on 2 off means that after knocking off your 25 days holiday, and the 8 bank holidays, you’ll work about 208 days of the year.
Let’s suppose you average 12 hours per shift, then 12x £14.45 is £173.
£173 x 208 days = £36067 per year. You can probably expect at least £33-£34k if they deduct breaks, or you average a bit less than 12 hours. Either way, it’s not bad at all. However, you will only get a handful of weekends off through the year.

Ha ha, how the hell did I reply to the wrong thread? Agh, I meant it to go into the “night rate” thread. Mods… do your work!
Sorry
Maybe the driver was trying to work it out in his head when he drove into the trees?

Seeing as…
We can type anything we want here with impunity, I thought I’d share my grandmother’s recipe for Elderflower wine.
Get some elderflowers from Asda.
Add water.
Boil them to a pulp in a large pot.
Add some sugar.
Stir vigorously for 5 minutes.
Go and get absolutely wasted for three days.
Decant the liquid into bottles, store and then give as prezzies for Xmas.
next week tips on baiting mousetraps
I would have tried a little harder for a night out.

Tch. Some people can’t see the woods for the trees.
I’ve got the scoop on this one. The tractor is from Western Express trucking company pulling a Wally trailer, he left Torrington CT with a load of Pallets going to Gloversville NY but got lost and made a wrong turn. He sure did but i don’t know how you lot got hold of the pic ?
I sent the picture to my friends in US and they say it’s a common occurrence

It seemed like a better option at the time than reversing out on the same road that he went in there on.
