Heading to Northwich this morning from Doncaster in the truck via the A1/M62 I find out the motorway is shut due to some drunken twunt driving the wrong way down the motorway which results it two innocent people getting killed. So I have no choice but to head down the M1 from Leeds to the woodhead, a route I was trying to avoid in the 1st place because of the weather (it was raining till I got to Leeds). By the time I get to the Sheffield end of the woodhead the snow has come down heavily, and taking a run up the hill on the duel carriageway, I figured I’d make it to the top, only to find several other trucks sat there near the top before the Huddersfield turn that have spun out and are blocking my path. So after a few heart stopping moments (even with the handbrake on it was sliding back) I have no choice but to reverse it back to the roundabout and abandon the trip as there was no way I was going to get to Morrisons in time for 10am

Early hours this morning. 22 year old fails breath test after driving wrong way on m-way. 2 others, in car travelling in correct direction, dead. Awful.
