Does anyone know if the parking area opposite Nells cafe on A2 at Gravesend is going to reopen or has that gone for good now as well cheers
When did that disappear, I’m sure there were trucks in it when I went past around Dec/Jan
I know it was council property and not Nells, but jeez, another bit of LGV space gone !!!
It’s still there but you can’t get in I thought it had been closed since about October
Just found this for you, don’t know how old it is though. Lorry parking is at the bottom and it still mentions the park opposite Nells. As said don’t know how old it is.
Still closed allegedly for maintenance but i think its more to do with discouraging trucks from parking in kent people where heading for the park at nells finding it full then going back on the a2 and parking on the hard shoulder im ashamed to say kents not very truck friendly there is some parking oppisite asda near town if you need somewherei think its called Clifton marine Parade

bjd, Nells has got it’s own car park, why would people go to the other side, especially as its signed as a “LORRY PARK” ? Oh wait a minute, ignorant car drivers, yeah see your point, doesn’t that just boil it !!!
I’ve got to say though I wouldn’t go to Clifton Marine Parade, best going to the other option on the web site, Crete Hall Road.

I think it has more to do with it keeps getting landed on by Gypo’s and the cost of clearing it up
