15 years ago I was certainly living the single mans dream round Europe
Such a shame euro work has gone the way it has, we even used to talk and socialise together in those days…

Sorry o/p, that’s not much help. 
If the OP is willing to travel further from his door step that might help. Fly by Nite are hiring and you can drive round Europe for 3 months at a time if you want.
As said, there isnt as much Eu work as there once was, so be prepared to travel to get it. Good companies dont advertise, so youll maybe need (unless youre lucky) to get on with a lesser outfit until you find your feet. As already said, commuting only a coupla times a month should broaden your horizons a bit.
We had a grand total of 3 people ask about a job I posted on here. I give up!

People can look at the website of the company I work for and send their CV in. We are after drivers, and if you want euro work we have it. Get to drive round Europe following the f1 if you are willing to do a few weeks away potentially.

yep, spot on and they dont have many european trampers anymore its all done from their euro base and european partner companies
If you’re up for doing tankers then try Abbey or Brit European, they still do some euro work.
As do lomas apparently.

I live in Birmingham. The company I work for is based near Winchester. If you want decent European work you’re going to have to travel.
I love it, been away 15 weeks already. Not looking to going back to the yard next week to have the truck MOT’d.

I used to be away for 3/4/5 weeks at a time. Great days & been to many places. I wouldn’t want to do it any more though. A week away is long enough for me now.

I work on music, we go everywhere… I’m in Hamburg now, got to be in Brussels tomorrow morning.
