Got a shouting at from a forkie on a build site today as I was taking too much time securing the rest of the load, unfortunate that I had to wait to lave site due to same forkie braking too hard to leave site to take a tub of mortar around to some brickies, 1 tub of mortar slid off forks and all over road, I did offer to help but just got a grunt as a reply…
Always secure your load before moving…your the one responsible. Dont worry about forkies they dont pay the fines, so they can fork off…and offering to help shovel up a ton of mortar, after he had a moan…shame on you…serves him right.
You missed the chance to tell him if only he’d properly secured his load before transporting…
