Another drivers hours question!

Hello all, apologies for yet another drivers hours question but we have had a debate!!

If you work Friday through until Tuesday, can you do 5 15hour days!■■? As the new week starts Sunday night!!

You can only have 3 reduced daily rests between weekly rests, the fixed week has nothing to do with it.
Not complicated, not sure why it needed a debate.

Your week started on Friday. The calender week starts Sunday… so to answer your question: NO. Unless on two of the days - you have at least three hours of unbroken rest - during your shift.

As said you can have 3 reduced daily rest periods between weekly rest periods.

That doesn’t stop you doing more 15 hour shifts if you have split daily rest periods though.

As said - the fixed week from sunday midnight to sunday midnight has nothing to do with reduced daily rests - that is between weekly rests (a period of at least 24 hours off) and is a max of 3 reduced between weekly rests

You could do every shift as a 15 hour if you use a split daily rest
