A woman “parked” her car in the third lane of a busy motorway to allow her husband to be sick.
Her BMW was spotted by police on the M1 northbound in Northamptonshire, near the Watford Gap services on Sunday.
“Just found a car parked in lane three of the M1, waiting for her husband to be sick in the roadworks,” officers wrote on Twitter.
The woman was “given advice” by police who issued a warning to other motorists to “never stop in live lanes”.

Given advice for stopping in the 3rd lane to allow her husband to be sick!!!

Should have been given a fixed penalty at the very least, better still banned from driving forever.

Absolutely stupid idiocity braindead moronic actions yet not prosecuted.

Like the Minibus I saw on the M1 the other weekend, stopped on hard shoulder with 5 males all stood just over the Armco barrier ■■■■■■■ into the wind. 7 miles from the services as well, less than a 10 minute drive.
