Too many of us think stopping to ask for directions is an affront to our professionalism, and may carry on too long before seeking advice.
I doubt that pilot`s military bosses would agree with that sentiment tho. .

i think those dudes would put ice road truckers to shame on a day to day basis.

It was quite common in the 50’s & 60’s for RAF pilots to fly low over rail stations so they could read the name and get an idea of where they were.

Does anyone else feel obliged to buy something at the snack bar if they stop for directions. I always get a coffee or bar of chocolate as a thank you
