Must have been the wind. Can’t see why else it’d go over. Tipper drivers are renowned for their careful and calm approach to driving.

Strong enough to snap the King ping as well
apparently it was was a freak but brief phenonenom known as… hurricane aggregate on trip money.known to target tippers within a 90 mile radius of any quarry
Always knew tipper drivers were good.
Brought his own soak up for his fuel spill .

When i rolled the newspapers reported a injury to my arm, which most people would assume nothing major. I ended up in hospital for 2 weeks with that.

Good job you use your left hand eh
Sometimes, but not saying it is in this case, but it has been know for drivers to use the vehicle to commit Hari-kiri with bridges and bridge supports having been used in the past.
One was on the viaduct on Doncaster bypass just after jct 36 northbound quite a few years ago, driver left note for his soon to be ex partner before starting his very early morning shift from the Midlands, this was before the mobile phone was invented so his wife had no way to stop what was going to happen.
Not all accidents are accidents, just something else for TNUKCSI to ponder over in their investigations.
One of our drivers was just behind him as it happened and said it looked like the tipper swerved to avoid a car.

They expected highways to wave a magic wand and make the tipper disappear
These 80 people being given summonses; If you’re stuck there with the engine off what offence are you committing? Fair enough if these 80 were people driving past on the opposite carriageway.
I don’t know what actually occoured there but it is a junction that I was always wary of when driving a truck. You come off the M40 from the Warwick direction on an uphill drag to access the M42 North from the right hand side of the Motorway and traffic coming from the Bromsgrove direction was usually travelling at full speed and you had to juggle for position until everyone found the lane they wanted to be in! Surprised that there are not more mishaps there really, it only takes somebody to panic, brake, and disaster isn’t far away.
Pete.
