In or out of EU ? Poll

No need to comment as a lot of comments have been made on another thread.

Just a simple vote will do.

Out

An undecided option might be useful

Well that’s pretty conclusive then.

Having said that, according to the TruckNet General Election 2015 poll, Nigel Farage was supposed to be tucking himself into bed at number 10 Downing Street right about now.

Not exactly.More like a reasonable amount of MP’s that would reflect a 4 million vote mandate on the same basis of MP’s per vote as the Cons have got. :unamused:

Cameron had us all believe that it was the Tory vote that would get split between them and UKIP. It was actually Labour’s vote though wasn’t it?

Milliband was presented to us by Cameron himself - as running neck and neck going into Polling day. He was nowhere near. Daft thing was - we all KNEW that Milliband was about to lose all those seats in Scotland - so where on Earth was Labour supposed to pick up all those extra seats from? The south of England with it’s 5-figure majorities everywhere? - Even UKIP didn’t make any impression - even in Thanet South FFS.

Perhaps 2020 will be different… Redcar wasn’t saved.
There are a lot more Tory voters who want OUT of the EU than there are Labour voters who want to stay in.
Corbyn has failed to capitalize on the anti-EU vote - by telling us that “as prime minister - he’d take us OUT of the EU without a referendum” - instead of all this “scrap trident” ■■■■■■■■ that keeps me firmly in the “never voted Labour” camp. I’m listening to what this guy has to say - but I’m still not being sold to. UKIP don’t have enough cash. I offered my services - but they only wanted my donation. TIME I can give them. Money? - If I had some - I would be voting Conservative in the first place, so it’s a bit of a paradox…

Plus the greens took 1million votes for 1 seat = 5 million votes for 2 MPs .

Praps the EU should get crafty . Offer its own referendum to abolish english goverment as its undemocratic

Id vote for that too .

Because its EU policy to have regional representation . 9 regions of england plus wales , scotland and NI .

Id be happy with having a south west parliament coordinated by an arms length EU to sort defence and international relations

And abolish house of commons , lords , queen , privy council etc

But EU would have to go back to core western members and hive off ex soviet states to new entity .

This would be my preferred option , but EU wont have the wit to offer it

The lesson of Redcar is that Socialism won’t save the working class. When it’s Nationalism and protectionism that the country needs. As for Trident all the signs are that those with the wealth have the most to lose from a defence policy based on the idea of mutually assured destruction.Which is why the Chinese Communist Party already have more power over the direction of the western world than they could ever have dreamed of and that’s why all those Brit steel workers are now on the dole. :bulb:

The inconvenient fact being that the EU’s idea of ‘regional representation’ is Federal government.Which means ‘regional implementation’ of EU supreme government directives. As opposed to ‘national’ sovereign local government which puts us back where we were before 1066. :bulb:

As for being ruled by the ‘Greens’ 1 seat for 1 million votes = 5 seats for 5 million votes which is more than enough for a global warmist cult based on Sagan’s drug fuelled observations of Venus. :unamused:

Can I take it that nobody read the instruction?

I was just thinking the same Billy

I haven’t broken it yet, why would I read the instructions?

Sorry Rog but no good sitting on the fence.

Sorry .

Carryfast I meant 4 M UkIP + 1 M green =5 M votes = 2 MPs = democratic deficiency

My suggestion is based on observation that UK gov is not much more positively viewed by public than EU .

Representative local government does have a more positive opinion . especially when people realise they would no longer need to be ruled by Scottish

But this local democracy would need a coordinating authority for trans regional border issues .

Man, you hate us so much even refusing you use the proper countries names, you definitely suffer from soviet paranoia :unamused:
I bet EE countries are more important to EU then UK in today’s world, you can dream about your western members state union where I guess you want UK to be the leader, not Germany and France. Ain’t gonna happen!
UK is derailing the EU project for long time, your beloved western members are growing more and more tired of UK.

On a side note, how possible is second Scottish referendum to leave UK, if UK leaves EU in order to join EU as independent Scotland?

"SCOTTISH exporting would be “extremely adversely affected” if the UK leaves the EU, a former trade minister has warned MSPs.
Brian Wilson said 330,000 jobs in Scotland are dependent on exporting to Europe, and he told Holyrood’s Economy Committee that a vote to leave would be “bonkers”.
46% of the Scottish exports is done to EU.

And yes carryfast , i realise EU is not and has never been serious about regionalisation .

Im suggesting that they should be . its the most popular policy weapon they have , and if they were canny its one they should fire .
And its universally popular across west europe : from the spanish and belguims to the scottish .

But of course national govs will always veto abolishing national govs .

There are way too many politicians , and putting 100/1000s on dole would unite western european people like never before

Hello Dolph

The people in countries around the world that purchase scotch whisky are not going to stop just because the UK extracts itself from the EU, including all of Europe, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Japan, Russia, EE; everywhere.

It is a smokescreen that trade will be adversely affected.

Brian Wilson was a ■■■ as a minister and still full of merde, won’t be any effect on Scottish trade either way, only thing is domestic traders (ie those that don’t export to the EU) might lose a lot of the legislation that is holding them back and costing a fortune in compliance.

Hello Duck

Some people might continue buy it some may not. But if EU impose 20% import tax people might switch to Irish whisky for example.
Nothing is known yet, what will or will not happen.

Great EU imposes 20% import tax on Scotch whisky then we impose 40% import tax on French wine and Brandy. So does Switzerland and Norway. While domestic consumption increases because we save the EU VAT component which gets taken off the domestic price. :bulb:

You seem to have this weird one sided idea of trade wars. :unamused:
