just thought i’d revive this thread…as Dhl have come out with a new de-brief sheet of paper this week…they expect us all to check EVERY tyre tread depth at the end of shift,tractor and trailer! and write it down!
a walk around visual check is what i will continue to do.
Not sure what depot that is, but I know from a shunter who worked at a DHL site (won’t name it incase of nosy ■■■■■■■ on here), DHL drivers was constantly bringing in trailers with tyres below the DHL tread limit, and in some cases, below the legal limit, and with bulbs out on the trailers etc too.
