goole

as posted in the hull daily mail
A TEN-TONNE roll of tinfoil blocked a roundabout after falling off a lorry

The vehicle became stuck in Andersen Road, Goole, after shedding the aluminium sheet at about 2.30pm today.

Police closed part of the road in order to cut the RMS shipping lorry free from the aluminium

I’d love to see the turkey that roll of foil was intended for

Bet the driver gets roasted.

Wonder if be strapped it…we carry those coils n there’s no way I’d take that without at least 3 straps on it.

I like the caption under the video of the story at the bottom of the page:

Yes he may well be.

Let me guess. … bit too sharp round the roundabout?

Yep he did that right in front of me, there was straps on the trailer bed where it came off but not sure if they were actually attached to the load.
And no just to clarify he was not going to fast round the roundabout!

If the dashcam hasn’t overwritten I may even have some footage.

I presume it was a top hat coil, as opposed to being in the well? It looks a bit top heavy for a top hat. Not doing too well for rms, as they had a coil carrier snap in half on Birkenhead docks last year
