From the far ends of the internet I bring you… shenanigans!
Having done flatbed work for the last couple of months, I’ve seen some pretty odd load configurations, but can anyone here figure out why three sports cars might be loaded like THIS? http://www.autoweek.com/article/20140509/CARNEWS05/140509876 Because it really escapes me.
Even better, we can all guess by the colour scheme just which of the UK’s finest, most professional and distinguished logistics(!) companies is carrying it!
So I’m curious, is this some mad loading, or is there a good reason for it?
■■■■, and here was me thinking we could flog a dead horse some more. I’ll put away my stick now…
Tbh it wouldn’t really matter who was hauling it, if they were/are real cars that’s pretty mad.
Three Aston Martin DB9s of indeterminate vintage are being hauled on a flatbed trailer big enough for only two

And no BB you work as a lorry driver no-one would believe you
Mind if you drove a V8 Scania that could be different
apparently, they are Aston Martin pre production, development cars which cannot be sold, and, as such, need destroying, hence the way they have been loaded, it doesn’t matter if they get damaged
I had seen a post somewhere that they had been at MIRA or the other place that tests cars. They are now only allowed to be scrapped so transporting them like this wouldn’t have made any difference.
Hiya…so i am in a scrapyard in Stoke. in drives a Rolls Royce , onto the weigh bridge then down the
yard the driver gets out the grab lifts the car into the fragger(machine rips cars to pieces) out come
clean bits of metal. the car was a test/learner car and was worn beyond selling.it was a complete car.
i must say it was in 1976/7

Wheels and tyres are worth a few quid, why are they left on
If you saw what stress and everything they have been through you wouldn’t really wanna risk having them on your car…
I’ve only ever bought 1 used wheel from a scrapper £5 and that was a steel rim with a good looking tyre for a get out of ■■■■ spare .never used it in all the time it was in the boot.
