have you ever wondered why you put a fairy on the top of your xmas tree?
well rumour has it that in the old days when santa didn’t have as many raindeer he used to send fairys out with a xmas tree for each house in the world.
one year the fairys where despatched to deliver the xmas trees.when they got back santa treated them all to mince pie for all the hard work.but then he noticed one fairy was missing

after a hour the missing fairy returned but with one tree left over(remember santa sent just enough out for every house).the fairy asked santa what she should do with the tree.to which santa replied**“stick it up your arse”**.
and to this day that is why a fairy sits at the top of the tree
