Incidently, did ya know Chris Rea got the idea for ‘Road to Hell’, whilst sitting on the M25■■..In a traffic Jam!!..
Way back in the mists of time (the early 70’s!) there was a song called
Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep and the band that sang it were called
Middle of the Road.
And another Status Quo song from the 80’s was an album called
End of the Road.
