Music for RW truckers can’t be any worse than Music for Space Truckers, virtual or no…

How to start trucking in virtual space

This once off-line Amiga game has come a long way over the past 30 years since I first got my trucking licence in Real Life
Here’s the intro video from 30 years ago…

…And here’s the 2016 version same music, different style, as are the vastly superior graphics…

Oh yeh, it is a bit stricter on law & order than RL, where if you take the equivalent of taking six shunts to get it onto bay One - the station itself opens fire on you, and destroys your ship for “loitering” and “being a danger to other traffic”…

Hint: Don’t spend all your money on fancy vehicles - when you don’t know how to bloody well fly them properly…

Perhaps Sports Car and 4x4 drivers in Real Life might take note? :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

What about a Status Quo Track… “Heavy Traffic!”

Incidently, did ya know Chris Rea got the idea for ‘Road to Hell’, whilst sitting on the M25■■..In a traffic Jam!!..

Way back in the mists of time (the early 70’s!) there was a song called
Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep and the band that sang it were called
Middle of the Road.

And another Status Quo song from the 80’s was an album called
End of the Road.

Talking of Quo…
What about that great old song Roadhouse Blues…

" Keep ya eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel…"

What about Motorhead’s “We are the Road Crew”

A couple of obvious ones that I can think of are the german synthesiser band KRAFTWERK and their old hit AUTOBAHN and that old country music hit, beloved by all Scania lovers KING OF THE ROAD.
