Why didn’t the police fine every single driver queuing for a coffee at Costa drive through ,unbelievable pictures on the TV of long queues ?
Apparently in France , three hour queues when McDonald’s opened their drive through .
The police would have made a lot of money .
3 hours to queue for a burger and chips ffs 
It’s becoming quite obvious that the shutting down of the whole country, incl house arrest for innocent people and the absolute fear instilled in millions who have watched and read and believed the terrifying propaganda broadcast into the homes they are confined to, wasn’t necessary in the wholesale method employed.
Selective protecting of those most vulnerable should have been the order of the day, not discharging poor old buggers out of hospital back home or back to care homes where infection would spread like wildfire, but leaving the healthy and fit to continue working sensibly taking all due care.
Maybe the old bill have started to realise they were just as duped as every other bugger, in some cases they’ve been overzealous doing the bidding of the govt of the day and ended up taking a lashing for doing so, why everyone expects common sense from the police when common sense left the country on the last steamship decades ago is a mystery.
The average copper is probably just like i would suggest most of us, wanting to get the country back to work before its too late to salvage something of what might survive of businesses, nicking a few bods queuing for a coffee would achieve nothing except more animosity from the general public towards that average copper.

You mean the Prof Ferguson who resigned as an adviser because he was grassed up for having his married fancy woman drive 30 miles (twice!) to stay with him?

Ah, the go to soothsayer of several successive govts, one of those primarily responsible for convincing our bungling panicking and likeable PM, Ferguson now hoisted spectacularly by his own petard, it would be amusing if it wasn’t going to lead to economic disaster for millions of people who thought the £merry go round would never stop.
