St George's day

Isn’t it strange how the Scots, Welsh and Irish passionately celebrate their patron Saints day but we English seem almost apologetic and somehow embarrassed to?

I for one am proudly flying my flag today. I didn’t actually own one but soon got around that by stealing my French neighbours flag and simply painting a Red Cross onto it.

Ah c’mon my French friends, it was tongue in cheek

Strictly speaking it isn’t St Georges day until the 30th April this year- Saints Days cannot fall within the octave of Easter.

That depends whether you believe in Dragons or Virgins giving Birth.

Seeing as it was about easter, it would be more use if you believe in zombies…
