Having worked abroad a lot, and only knowing the bare essentials of the local lingo (a large beer my man etc) I have found that the art of communication is easy if you are prepared to put yourself out a bit. For example, if one of the local chappies has made a mistake - you kick him in the nuts - that means (universally) Try again moosh… Jim.
