In reference to your pic above, - it would be nice if HM can dissolve (or refuse to “open”) Parliament come November, because it does NOT have a workable Brexit plan for the coming year IN HM’s “Speech”. Think about it: We’re supposed to be leaving by the end of March 2019. SO… This Year’s “Queen’s Speech” is going to be about the most important one we’ve had in our lifetimes!HM is supposed to stay out of politics as part of the traditional way of doing things - BUT - if the Speech for this year’s State opening of Parliament clearly shows that we’re going to be having Riots come the new financial year turning over - then I wouldn’t put it past the nation’s favourite old dear to put her own oar into proceedings, and possibly even make that pic above - come to pass!
The issue of the ultimate ‘sovereignty’ of the country isn’t an issue of ‘politics’ at all and it’s exactly the type of issue which we’d expect the Queen and her armed forces to rightly take on parliament over assuming parliament ever tries to delegate/hand that sovereignty over to a foreign power to whatever degree.Which leaves only one possible conclusion.The Royal perogative approves of such delegation in this case and has done since 1973.
