Same here really every great experience/moment of my life has been a direct result of meeting my beloved, yes there’s been high and lows but the highs of kids/grandkids/laughter/dancing/generally innapropriate behaviour etc far outweigh the lows.
Biggest low was nearly losing the wife to a lung infection closely followed by the loss of my parents to Pancreatic cancer and vascular dementia, possibly oversharing here though.
Course a close contender for both best and worst experiences of my life are the same thing, yes you’ve guessed it true to form I’m talking ■■■■ ■■■■■■■■■■■. I only gave her 6inches and the ■■■■■ pegged me with a 10incher.
Top tip: never ever agree to a “you do me then I’ll do you” game without first looking in the bedside cabinet.
