Not at all, some forms of culture humour can indeed be amusing or even witty without being offensive, it is all a matter of context and situation. I agree that some people can take offence for the wrong reasons or take things out of context too easily. However some forms of humour can lead to being interpreted as racist comments which then in itself is inappropriate humour. Simple ethics, respect and common sense can avoid any confusion. Take Dipper_Daves comment as an example, non offensive, witty and would make anyone smile, then take a comment such as “half chat” or “your kind” for example, these terms are inappropriate in any context. I would have assumed that you had the sense to see this rather than try to make a case out of it. Arguing for argument sake rings true here as you know full well that you cannot make any argument in defence of insulting someone for their skin colour or creed is ever going to win any argument. Unless you of course try to twist words out of context.
