Thinking of buying the other half a laptop or tablet for Christmas and was looking at the google chrome ones, on the face they seem a good buy as they come ready to go rather than if you buy Microsoft you then have to buy the software as an extra. Does anyone have any experience of the chrome system and is it any good? thanks.
I bought an iPad 2 yrs ago and I’ve not touched me laptop.
I can do word excel spreadsheet etc and that’s all free too.
I don’t think I’ll go back to a computer in the real sense
Got an Asus Chromebook last year. If surfing and streaming are the main things they’re brilliant. You can get add-ons for spreadsheets etc as well. Automatic updates every week take about 20sec.
Look for one that’s going to be able to access Google Play soon, they say it’s coming but so far Christmas is faster.
