On a brighter note

Following all the reports of bridge bashing and poor souls losing their lives on the road.
To try and lighten the mood a bit, what is your favourite band ?
Mine has to be the Foo Fighters. Followed closely by the stereophonics

Is it possible to have songs and not bands ?

Guns n roses, followed by iron maiden

Black Lace, or as I prefer to call them… ‘‘The Lace’’ :sunglasses:
Who could forget the Classic tracks ‘Agadoo, Superman, C’mon do the Conga’’
… and my personal favourite ‘‘The Hokey Cokey’’ a dance I have mastered to a fine art,.and I can be seen moving those shapes on club dancefloors across the country on nights out.
And check out the album version of I am the music man…and enjoy.

I also went through an ‘Aqua’ phase when they released the iconic …‘‘Calling Dr Jones’’ . The lyrics in that track meant so much to me in my life, and were a great comfort in moments of pain.

But The Lace are still my number 1 band.

What? Call yourself a music fan. :unamused:
Are you telling me that ‘Barbie Girl’ aint one of your favourites.

albatross Fleetwood mac

Still Alice Cooper for me, been a fan since i was about 15, not the usual hits though can’t bloody stand most of 'em cos they’ve been played to death.

Other than that i’m a sucker for Phantom and other musicals like Chicago (film is a must see, phwoar).
This is a song deleted from Chicago film itself but is on the soundtrack album, worth listening to the lyrics and enjoy Catherine’s er voice, going to be played at my funeral

Some canny music there marra, must be as old as me
I’ll add some Free and Bad Company to that lot with some Motown and some classical stuff. Got teenage grandchildren so Capital Radio (becomes default station when transporting them :unamused: )keeps me in touch with the new stuff :sunglasses:
