Never used to like Tom Hanks, but he’s made some cracking films in later years. Green Mile is defo one of them.
At the end when he walks the last mile and then strapped to the chair, he and tom hanks shake hands, gets me every time !!

If you think frying bad people is a good way to stop them doing it again is a good solution, say ay.
If you think putting bad people up into a relative luxury hotel for a bit, and let them out after a few years, to resume and repeat their behaviour, say “I’m a lefty socialist, do-gooder yoghurt knitting tree hugger”…
As above, if anyone hasn’t read it do search the book out, the final book (it originally came in 5 or 6 volumes) is emotionally shattering.

I’m mostly a leftie though I don’t knit or hug trees. Do support the death penalty though for rapists, kiddie fiddlers and murders. My only worry is the chance of someone who’s innocent accidentally being convicted. Bit hard to reverse the decision once you’re dead.

Nah, The Dark Tower series closely followed by Talisman are classic King.
