Picture the scene, a driver has booked a holiday, but because he’s the no1 driver he has to work til Thursday. Then he has his regular Friday home time issues.
My question is will he be home in time for his 4am plane or will he be stuck in his truck for a 15 and get home saturday?

I’d tick the box for him getting a pull when he pushes the hours a bit, gets a pull by VOSA and ends up spending 9 hours in a VOSA layby.
Don’t forget he will have to stay behind to wash the truck and tie his curtains with the fire extinguisher. Unless he’s lost in cheddar

I can just imagine it, someone selling the film rights to the story, where someone is left behind and the family flies off without them. We could even substitute a child actor for the main character …
