You obviously do not live in Scotland pal.The BBC weather is usually wrong.They seem to class Scotland as a village and if rain is forecast in one area they say it will be rain all over.Lost count of the number of times I look at the forecast and see a ■■■■■■■■■ cloud forecast over the area I live and look out and see blue sky and sun.
Just yesterday I was speaking to someone in Essex and he asked what the weather was like.When I told him it was blue sky and sun he seemed shocked. 
Not just true about Scotland, the BBC weather map has about 4 symbols to cover about 500 miles from the south coast of England to the Scottish Borders so don’t take it personally mate.
I come from the Moray firth. there are 2 climates - cauld and freezing - you go sea swimming in the cauld. Jim.
