Since when did Putin ever claim to not have taken back Crimea on the justified basis that it is a part of Russia that was only handed to Ukraine as part of and on the basis of the ongoing existence of the Soviet Union.No more SU with Russia and Ukraine being independent sovereign countries then Crimea is obviously Russia not Ukraine.
While even Eastern Ukraine could also justifiably be classed as Russia on the same basis that Northern Ireland is part of the UK not Eire.IE majority Russian loyalist ethnic Russian demographic.
As for Putin wanting to carry out a chem weapons attack against us.It’s more likely to be a Ukrainian instigated false flag and MI5 and May know it.Having said that feel free to support the EU’s expansionist interests in Ukraine by going to war with Russia.On the naive basis that it would be limited to a small Falklands type skirmish somewhere way out in the North Sea or Baltic followed by an easy Brit victory.
