I cant advise you further on that at least. Just be aware that GP surgeries are not Optometrists or Opticians surgeries, the lighting may be different, the distances may be different even the Snellen charts may be faded or worn.
I originally failed my medical at the doctor on eyesight. by then it is too late, the forms were sent to DVLA. Because I was already driving they had to extend my original licence until I had visited an eye specialist. However the eye test here was within the limits for the new rules that DVLA have set. Eventually I was given the licence but as already stated I now need glasses at all times to drive anything
