Medicals in Northern Ireland

Postby Bobj70 » Thu May 04, 2017 11:38 am

Hi all,
Newbie here so I hope I'm in the right place.
I turn 47 in September and my licence is up for renewal. The medical forms arrived yesterday morning and I rang my GP to arrange it. She said this would cost £200! That on top of a licence fee is a real shocker.
I have heard that it doesn't have to be my gp that carries this out. Does anyone know where I can get a valid medical in Northern Ireland?
I take bp medication (controlled) and am a bit overweight.

Hi thanks for the reply but that won't work for me. My licence is up for renewal and £200 is a bit steep.
