copy:
Stinging nettle has long been used as an herbal medicine. Traditionally it has been used as a diuretic and to treat joint pain. While those uses continue today, it’s more commonly used to treat men with an enlarged prostate, the University of Maryland Medical Center reports. Because of its effects in the body, it may also help lower blood pressure. However, you should never use nettle to lower blood pressure unless you are under the care of a doctor to treat the condition.
